It is a natural process to delve into deeper thinking about our lives, our purpose, and our ethical thoughts as we grow older.
We are all blessed to have brains that think, interpret, and calculate all sorts of possibilities and scenarios impacting our daily lives. How we use our brains in conjunction with our souls ultimately determines levels of happiness and life satisfaction.
After much consideration on this topic, I decided to construct and comb through a number of ethical thoughts that are inspirational to me and hopefully of high value for you.
Every company needs to communicate ethical values and systems in every aspect of their business. They will make more money and avoid sullying reputations.
It is easier to view ethical thoughts through our own lenses rather than interpreting them from others. Having grace and humility ever strong and present in our moral compasses will help prevent this from happening.
How can ethical reforms ever take place when humans put their own interests first?
I am declaring that politics and ethics cannot exist on the same planet. One floats near Pluto and the other one hovers above Earth.
Read Aristotle’s Ethics and you will see a pretty clear path to happiness.
The number of laws on the books in this country is probably as thick as our tax codes. Our ethical judgments, morals and values transcend them all.
A setback is a set-up for a comeback. It’s difficult to do this without a strong ethical foundation and moral compass designed for maximum resilience.
There is a big difference between truly wanting to be a good person who contributes positively to humanity and someone who wants to be a good person seeking out the approval of others.
For those of you who own pets: quit your merciless yelling at them because they accidently tinkled on your carpet or chewed on a piece of furniture. They have every right to say, “You hypocrites that judge us…..you recklessly slaughter each other every day, discriminate against each other, and selfishly put your interests first. Piss on you.”
Let’s be clear that there is nothing imaginary about evil. It marches on with reckless abandon and a carefree attitude in the world. Without an ethical base and moral compass consisting of love, compassion, understanding, respect for others, how can we stop evil in it’s tracks?
Organizations have it all wrong: you purposely lead and inspire from the top down. You manage leadership from the bottom up.
I don’t care what religious sect you come from or worship in. If your doctrines do not promote respect, consideration, tolerance, courtesy, decency, fairness toward other humans I cannot and will not engage you on any level. That makes you an enemy of mine.
The day is early and it is time to start smiling now. Greet others with warmth that you don’t know.
Be genuine and authentic. Always be ethical.
Do your best every day and make our planet a better place.
